Conventionally performed as a solo dance by women only, Bharatanatyam initiated in Hindu temples and flourished in Southern India. It is a depiction of illustrative anecdotes of Hindu religious themes and spiritual ideas emoted by a dancer with impressive footwork and gestures, its performance repertoire including nrita, nritya and natya.


Inspired by one of the oldest classical dance forms in Indian heritage, this collection has been designed and specially curated to cater to the ones who hold this art form close to their hearts and hear the beats of the salangai/ghungroo even in their dreams.
